We were warned by friends that a renovation would be a very stressful experience…contractors will work to their own schedule…there will be additional costs…the quality of work will not meet our expectations…etc, etc. We were almost afraid to approach a contractor for a quote! We put the project on hold after a discouraging quote from the first contractor we engaged. We thought other quotes would be similiar. A parent on my son’s hockey team encouraged us to phone Scott at Wescraft. We are so thankful we did. Our experience with Wescraft was fantastic. From the first meeting to the final inspection, we were treated with respect by Scott, his employees, and the subtrades he employs. The quote was within our budget, and did not contain any contingencies. The suggestions for cost savings did not compromise quality or the concept of what we wanted our dream kitchen to look like. And finally, the schedule we were given was maintained. We were, and still are ecstatic with the result. We have so much trust in Wescraft as an honest contractor, that we hired them again to design and build a detached garage, without seeking a second quote. They met the challenge of matching the existing house right down to the 28-year-old brick and siding. It looks like like it was built at the same time as the original house. We are confident that Wescraft can do the same for you.
We are currently building a home with Wescraft. Prior to signing on with Scott, he was gracious enough to give us a tour of homes he had built in Fort Langley , and the Estates of Castle Hill in Langley. We were completely impressed with his company’s attention to detail. We were sold! It has been excellent working with them, and I am grateful we have had the opportunity to build our dream home with them. Scott and Nathaniel are wonderful to work with. Professional, Informative, and they possess a skill set in almost every house-building related issue. They are a wealth of information, and provided amazing support to us as we navigate our build with them. Our home should be complete in May/June of 2015, so keep an eye out for the Wescraft sign in High Point in Langley. That’s Us! I realize it’s unusual to post such favorable comments about our builder before the project is completed – but that just tells you the faith we have in Wescraft. They are a rare breed those guys. Just excellent!
“We had talked to a few builders and became more and more apprehensive with every new builder we met… I felt instantly at ease with Scott. We hired Wescraft and went ahead with our plans. Throughout the process of tearing down our old home, and constructing our new home, Scott’s crew were polite, hardworking, conscientious and reliable. I work from home and continued to work on site out of a temporary building, and I was continually impressed with the work ethic and capabilities of Scott’s crew.We never once doubted our decision to hire Scott to build our home. We are very happy with the quality of construction and finishing. Not only would I recommend Wescraft, I actually look for opportunities to do so! We love our new home! Thank you Scott, Nathaniel, Darren, Michael, and Justin for the great energy you put into our home.
We had a memorable experience building with Wescraft. My wife and I were expecting our first child at the time when Scott delivered our home on spec, on time and on budget. We were delighted. A week after completion, Langley Memorial delivered our daughter!
Viviane and I were first timers at building our dream home. Scott Foster from Wescraft built a beautiful home for us. It was on time and on budget. We had heard of friends having problems with contractors. We didn’t have one issue we couldn’t resolve with Scott. We would use Scott again, but the problem is, we love our home so much we will probably never move. Thanks again, Scott!
We had a very positive experience building our first home. In fact, 8 years later, we hired Wescraft again, to build our summer lake house.
Having never tackled a large scale renovation, we did not know what to expect. Scott explained the process clearly and kept us informed every step of the way. At any time we were able to reach Scott directly with questions big or small. This eleviated any potential stress and we found the whole experience to be comfortable and enjoyable. Our large renovation was completed with exceptional quality, on time and on budget. We do not hesitate to recommend Scott Foster to all our friends and family.
Like many people, we nervously sought a contractor to work with for our home renovation. Our initial discussions with Scott were unlike those of other companies we had interviewed. His honesty and reliability set him apart. Our decision to work with Scott and the Wescraft crew proved to be such a rewarding experience that we highly recommend him to others. If we were to build or renovate again, we wouldn’t look anywhere other that Wescraft to do the job.”
We lost our home in a fire, were devastated and in shock. We were immediately impressed with Scott’s sincerity, professionalism and confidence. Scott was quick to put together a quote, win the bid, redraft our house-plans to fit the existing foundation. Our prayers were answered.
We moved into our new home on schedule and within our budget. Scott even thought to give our new home a unique look that would not reflect the previous one. He was able to recreate the rooms and spaces giving the house a more open concept. The detailed woodwork reflecting the ‘Arts & Craft’ era is second to none. Our home is simply beautiful with impressive street appeal! We are so grateful to Scott and his Wescraft team.
